At Tahoma Physical Therapy, we are committed to delivering exceptional one-on-one care for all patients, focusing on education and empowerment to achieve optimal long-term health and wellness.

Our Philosophy

We focus on individualized, hands-on care to help identify biomechanical, neuromuscular, and functional movement impairments that are holding you back in some aspect of your life. We want to know our patients on a personal level, as we believe that is a critical piece to understanding what your needs are and how we can best meet them.

We believe that a person’s physical function is more than just how strong and flexible they are: it is about what they do, how they do it, and how their body and lifestyle match with those things. We work closely with you and the rest of your healthcare team, as needed, to come up with a comprehensive plan to meet your goals, whatever they are. We treat both simple, acute injuries and more complex, chronic conditions with the goal of equipping you with the knowledge and tools you need to manage your condition effectively, prevent future injuries, and achieve optimal long-term health and wellness. In our combined 24 years of practice, we have often had patients who have seen numerous other providers in the past without meaningful progress-we want to be the ones who help get you out of that cycle and onward in your life!

Our philosophy is rooted in the concept of Healthspan: which is to say we want to optimize how WELL you live, for as long as you live. We want to be your Physical Therapist for life. Our bodies, needs, motivations, and goals change over time, and we want to form long-lasting relationships with our patients so that whenever you have a question or concern, you want to come to us to work on it. From the most basic aspects of function, like sitting, standing, and walking, to the highest levels, such as dance, running, skiing, and more, we promise an in-depth process of assessment and treatment that is always focused on the most important thing: YOU.
